Following on from the last post, about three weeks ago the lady from the village who helps with our cleaning, was helping her husband chop fire-wood. Somehow he managed to chop off the little finger on her left hand, they had to wait about half an hour for the ambulance, and apparently placed the severed finger in ice.
When they got to the hospital the finger was sown back on. Although she missed one weeks cleaning, she has managed quite well the last two weeks, and said yesterday that the doctors have said that the finger will be O.K!
