This has undoubtedly been the worst weather since we came here six years ago. It has meant that the guests we have had renting our one and two bedroom self-catering apartments, have not had a clear week of sunshine at any time. It has now rained more than we are used to since early November. During June we have had a lot of instances of rainy cloudy cool days, this has not happened before in our limited experience. We are now nearly a week into July, and although we have had some wonderful sunny days, today for example is overcast, and it has rained overnight, and again this morning. The one benefit is the continuing green countryside. I have attached some photos which show our garden, very green and lush, and a view of the Quinta since we cut back the jacaranda tree. For the time being this reduction of the jacaranda will make a lot less work, keeping the leaves out of the pool and surrounding area.
