It’s a long time now since we completed the renovation of the house and other buildings at Quinta Sao Domingos. About four years ago we added solar heating to the swimming pool, it was laid on top of the chicken house. Unfortunately the tiles on this roof were reclaimed, and not very strong. So when the solar was put on a number of the tiles were cracked, and this has caused a number of leaks, which have become progressively worse. So last week a friend of ours came and we removed the tiles. They have been replaced with modern insulated sheets. We now have to work out how to replace the solar heating which had to be removed!
