We have been here for a little over two years now and really love being here. The Portuguese people have been so nice to us, the area around here is beautiful, and most of the year is warm and sunny. We are still waiting to move into our apartment as work remains outstanding.
The geothermal heating was delayed due to slow delivery from the German manufacturer, and work only started a few days ago. The plumbers are here to today, but we still need the painters and the electrician to finish before we can move.

The weather over the last month has been very wet with only a few warm sunny days. We saw the mountains for the first time in a couple of weeks and there appears to be lots of snow.
